Sylvia joined Fairlie Healthcare in June 2019, initially working alongside Daisy Selvakumar until she transferred to the new home Woodstown House in Banstead. Sylvia took over the reins as Registered Home Manager for Fairlie House in January 2020.
Sylvia is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience covering the NHS and Private Sector in diverse nursing roles from bedside nursing to the role of Healthcare Inspector. Her clinical background has been varied but mainly focused on Hospital-based Critical Care in her early years shifting to working more in the community setting over the last 10 years.
Sylvia has personally invested in learning professional Coaching skills and now enjoys using her knowledge to support her team at Fairlie House. Sylvia is committed to continuous service improvement, interdisciplinary team working, staff development and most importantly providing an excellent experience for both patients and their relatives.
