Priya Roychoudhury

Priya Roychoudhury is a Dance Therapist at Fairmount Behavioral Health System since July 2022, with a strong background in dance therapy and education. Priya holds a Master of Arts in Dance Therapy and Counseling obtained from Drexel University in 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Dance with a concentration in Dance/Movement Therapy and a minor in Psychology, completed in 2020. Prior experiences include serving as an Assistant to the Dance/Movement Therapist at HMS School for Children with Cerebral Palsy, and various roles within the Drexel Dance Ensemble, including production jobs. Additionally, Priya has worked as a Rehabilitation Services Co-op at Good Shepherd Penn Partners and as an Activity Aide at Elm Terrace Gardens, where responsibilities included facilitating activities and supervising exercises for seniors. Early teaching experience was gained while serving as a Student Teacher at New Dance Workshop, focusing on instruction for young children.
