✉ Velipekka Kuoppala

Velipekka Kuoppala began their career in 2007 as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for Bluesky Positioning. In 2010, they joined Buzzinbees as Vice President of Global Sales and Business Development, followed by Maxa Group (iAxept becomes maxa) in 2015 as Senior Vice President of WW Sales and Business Development. ✉ Velipekka then moved to SORACOM Inc. (acquired by KDDI) in 2016 as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. In the same year, they joined Disruptive Evolution ApS as a Member of the Advisory Board, and VELRAG as a Board Member. In 2018, Kuoppala co-founded ConnectedYou, and in 2019 they founded the Meetup -> Sophia Antipolis Internet of Things IOT Meetup Group. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Fairown as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

Velipekka Kuoppala's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering from Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMK from 1991 to 1995, a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen from 1993 to 1994, a Team Leadership, Motivation and Business NLP Program from Business NLP academy, Hamburg, Germany in 1999, a Leadership, Communication and Global Account Management course from HEC Paris in 2006, and a Telecommunications Strategy and Marketing course from INSEAD in 2007.
