Marlene Velozo

Marlene Velozo has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. In their most recent position at FairSupply, they serve as a Business Intelligence Analyst since March 2023. Prior to this, Marlene worked at Itaú as a Management Systems and BI Project Leader from April 2016 to April 2018, where they successfully integrated the Business Intelligence departments of two major South American banks. Marlene used Oracle and SQL Server, along with Sybase IQ as database engines, and Qlik View for generating reports.

From March 2015 to March 2016, Marlene held the same role at CorpBanca where they optimized data models and supported various bank departments with their reporting needs. As an Independent Consultant from April 2013 to December 2015, they advised IT managers in designing and implementing the BusTV Play system, which operated as a television channel in public transportation in Santiago.

Marlene worked for everis as an Analytics Consultant from August 2007 to October 2014. Marlene implemented the Banking Core System for Banco Santander and managed multiple projects for financial institutions and telecommunication companies. During this time, they used PL/SQL under Oracle and BI tools like Cognos.

In 2007, Marlene briefly worked at Soalga as a System Analyst, completing the Process Control Project for a salmon producing company using Microsoft Technologies and Sybase PowerDesigner. Before that, they were an IT Project Manager at AAC Chile Ltda from January 2005 to May 2007.

Earlier in their career, Marlene served as an IT Support Specialist at Hotel Plaza from September 2003 to December 2004 and at Diario EL CENTRO from March 2003 to November 2004.

Marlene Velozo obtained a Scrum Master Professional Certificate from CertiProf LLC in 2021. Marlene also completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a degree in Computer Engineering at Universidad Católica del Maule from 1998 to 2004.
