Anthony Knox

Anthony Knox has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Anthony is currently working at Fairview Health Services as the VP of IT Architecture and Infrastructure, leading a team focused on cloud migration and automating service delivery. Prior to this, they served as the VP of IT Operations at Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, overseeing application and infrastructure delivery for 60 locations. Anthony also worked as the VP of Infrastructure and Operations at Reyes Holdings, where they ensured reliable and scalable IT operations across multiple functions. Before that, they were the Director of Core Infrastructure at Enbridge/Spectra Energy, where they improved service quality and engagement during a transition project. In their role as Director of Data Center Services at Spectra Energy, they implemented disaster recovery plans and led a data center consolidation project. Anthony also held various managerial positions at Union Gas and Canquest Communications, focusing on telecommunications and IT operations. Overall, Anthony brings extensive experience in IT leadership, operations, infrastructure, and project management.

Anthony Knox has a diverse education history. In 1983, they attended Lambton College and obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology. Following this, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Technical Management with a major in Information Technology from Bemidji State University. In 2022-2023, they attended Wharton Executive Education to enhance their skills as a Chief Technology Officer. Additionally, Anthony has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In January 1987, they received the CET certification from the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT). More recently, in August 2023, they completed the "Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development" course and in November 2023, the "Corporate Governance: Maximize Your Effectiveness in the Boardroom" course, both offered by Emeritus.
