Jim Peterson

Jim Peterson has a strong background in the medical field with extensive experience as a physician and medical director. Jim currently serves as the Medical Director at Fairview Rehab & Nursing Home since 2018. Prior to this role, Jim had various positions at Foundation Medical Partners, including Nursing home physician and Palliative care physician from 2017 onwards, and Family Physician / Palliative Care from 2013 to 2017. Jim also worked as a Family Practice Physician at Nashoba Family Medicine from 1991 to 2013. Jim gained experience as a Hospice Medical Director at Steward Health Care from 2011 to 2012 and at Nashoba Nursing and Hospice from 1996 to 2011. Jim was also a Medical Director at Westford Nursing and Rehab from 1998 to 2008.

Jim Peterson attended UMass Chan Medical School from 1984 to 1988, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine. Following this, from 1988 to 1991, they pursued further education at the University of Massachusetts Worcester/Fitchburg Coordinated Residency Program, specializing in Family Medicine Residency.
