Suvarna Hulawale

Suvarna Hulawale has extensive work experience in strategy, monitoring, evaluation, and learning roles. From 2022 onwards, they served as the Director of Strategy and Learning at FairVote. Prior to that, they held the position of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Manager at FairVote from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining FairVote, Suvarna worked at the International Budget Partnership as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer from 2014 to 2022. They also worked as a Consultant for UNICEF in 2014, where they focused on redesigning the Incentive Programme.

In 2014, they were a CBT Consultant for the Social Safety Net Project at The World Bank. Prior to that, Suvarna worked at ActionAid as an Inspirator Monitoring & Evaluation from 2012 to 2014. They also served as a Development Professional at Raman Development Consultants Private Limited in 2012.

Earlier in their career, Suvarna worked at ActionAid as an Inspirator Monitoring & Evaluation in 2011 and as an Advisor for Strategic Planning & Resource Mobilization at VSO from 2010 to 2011. They also worked as a Consultant for planning, monitoring, and evaluation at Indco High-tech Agro Rural Development and Women Welfare Society from 2008 to 2009. Additionally, they served as a Resource Officer at the Society for Hemophilia Care in 2008.

Suvarna Hulawale completed their Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) from Yashwantrao Mohite College of Art, Commerce and Science, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, India from 1999 to 2002. Suvarna further pursued their education and earned a Master's Degree in Social Work (Master of Social Work) from the Social Science Centre, Bharati Vidyapeeth, India, between 2002 and 2004.
