Omar Angel Perez

Omar Angel Perez has extensive experience in community organizing and policy advocacy, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving at Faith in Action since June 2017, Omar holds a significant role within the organization. Prior to this, Omar was the Policy Advocacy Manager at Global Workers Justice Alliance from February 2014 to September 2016, and the Director of Programs at La Fuente: A Tri-State Worker & Community Fund from January 2013 to January 2014. Omar also served as the Director at The Workplace Project between May 2010 and August 2012, and as Workers' Rights Coordinator at the Center to Support Immigrant Organizing from June 2009 to May 2010. Additional roles include Community Organizer at Workers Defense Project from February 2006 to July 2008, and Coordinador at Unión de Comunidades Indígenas de la Zona Norte del Itsmo from June 2001 to February 2005.
