Faith In Practice
Holly Dickinson has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as a Referrals Assistant at Faith In Practice since January 2016, where responsibilities include coordinating between the village medical and surgery programs and ensuring surgical candidates receive necessary procedures. Concurrently, Holly has worked as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for an anatomy course at the University of Southern California since July 2012, providing hands-on instruction to students. Additionally, Holly serves as a Non-Physician Observer, shadowing specialist physicians, and has been involved in research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since June 2011, contributing to databases and manuscript submissions. Earlier experience includes a role as a Student Research Assistant at UCLA's Department of Biochemistry in summer 2010. Holly holds a B.A. in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California (2015) and previously studied Biological Sciences at UC Santa Barbara.

Faith In Practice
The mission of Faith In Practice is to improve the physical, spiritual, and economic conditions of the poor in Guatemala through short-term surgical, medical, and dental mission trips and health-related educational programs. Our mission is based on an ecumenical understanding that as people of God we are called to demonstrate the love and compassion that is an outward sign of God’s presence among us. Faith In Practice’s life-changing medical mission is to minister to the poor, while providing a spiritually enriching experience for our volunteers.
