The mission of Faith In Practice is to improve the physical, spiritual, and economic conditions of the poor in Guatemala through short-term surgical, medical, and dental mission trips and health-related educational programs.

Our mission is based on an ecumenical understanding that as people of God we are called to demonstrate the love and compassion that is an outward sign of God’s presence among us. Faith In Practice’s life-changing medical mission is to minister to the poor, while providing a spiritually enriching experience for our volunteers.

The Development and Fundraising team at Faith In Practice is responsible for securing financial support to sustain and expand the organization's mission of improving conditions for the poor in Guatemala. This includes orchestrating fundraising campaigns, managing donor relations, organizing special events, and cultivating major gifts and annual contributions to ensure a continuous flow of resources for the medical and educational mission trips. The team works closely with volunteers and stakeholders to foster a community dedicated to compassionate service and spiritual enrichment.

The Human Resources and Administration team at Faith In Practice is responsible for managing recruitment and staffing, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring that the organization runs smoothly. The HR Manager focuses on recruitment and employee well-being, the Referrals Assistant handles volunteer coordination and placement, and the Team Administrator ensures that administrative processes are efficient and effective, supporting the overall mission to serve the poor in Guatemala.
