Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in collaborative solution development, particularly in the educational technology sector. Currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is involved in developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and related educational devices. Prior experience includes roles as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies and electronics contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on electronics design and repair for educational programs. Chris also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
