Paul Finnie

Paul is Sport & Recreation Manager for the Trust, with responsibility for the strategic management, development and delivery of a wide range of facilities, services and activities to Falkirk's Communities. These services are central to the objectives of the Trust, and provide access to sport, health & fitness, leisure and fun, in both indoor and outdoor settings. These services provide an excellent platform from which to engage with our customers and one of Paul's top priorities is to continue to improve the customer experience offered across all areas. Paul has over 30 years experience in the Sport & Recreation industry and has worked in a variety of roles during his time at both North Lanarkshire and Falkirk Councils. He has progressed from his first role as Leisure Attendant to Duty Manager, and onwards to various Sports & Recreation Management roles within Falkirk Council. Paul is a keen swimmer – a former Scottish Champion – and also enjoys walking and the occasional visit to the Gym, as well as relaxing and enjoying his free time.
