Brendan Hooley Cissp, Cism

Brendan Hooley has extensive experience in information security and risk management. Brendan currently serves as the Director of Information Security and Risk at Fallon Health. Prior to this, they held various positions at Citizens Bank, including VP and Director of IT Risk Management. In this role, they managed a team of senior risk managers and facilitated assessments of controls to ensure an effective control environment. Brendan also worked as a Principal Information Security Analyst at FM Global, where they collaborated with executive-level committee members to establish new security standards and provided risk analysis and recommendations to executive management. Additionally, Brendan served as the VP and Deputy Head of the Identity and Access Management Team at Citizens Bank, presenting program updates to regulators and executive management. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Information Security Implementation Manager/Consultant at Dell and as a Product Owner/Scrum Master at enLabel Global Services, Inc. Brendan also served as the Engineering Manager at InQuest Technologies, leading a team of developers and managing client relationships. Brendan began their career as a Software Engineer at Xchange, Inc. Throughout their career, Brendan has demonstrated a strong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, effectively manage teams, and provide strategic guidance in the field of information security.

Brendan Hooley obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Clark University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Brendan has achieved several certifications in various fields. Brendan obtained the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification from (ISC)2 in July 2013. Brendan also received the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification from ISACA in November 2014. Brendan holds the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute), obtained in February 2012. Lastly, they achieved the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from 6SigmaStudy in January 2012.
