Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy has a strong background in healthcare and managed care, with over 25 years of experience in various leadership positions. Sean most recently worked at Fallon Health as the Chief Network Strategist, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they were at Steward Health Care, where they served as the Senior Vice President Managed Care Central & East Regions from 2020 to 2022. Sean also held roles at Steward Health Care Network as the Vice President of Managed Care, Northeast Region from 2017 to 2020, and at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts as the Sr. Director, Network Contracting from 2011 to 2017. Before that, they worked at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as the Director, Provider Finance & Strategy from 2006 to 2011, at Tufts Health Plan as a Contract Manager from 2005 to 2006, and at PwC as a Manager from 1997 to 2005.

Sean Murphy completed their BA degree at Middlebury College from 1986 to 1990. Sean then pursued an MBA from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, which they completed from 1996 to 1998.
