Kimeshan Naidoo

Kimeshan Naidoo is an accomplished technology leader and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the AI and software sectors. As Co-Founder and CTO of Familiar since May 2025, Naidoo focuses on customer engagement solutions for the hospitality industry. In addition, Naidoo serves as Co-Chair of the Vejayanthran Education Fund, contributing to the development of teachers in South Africa. Naidoo co-founded Unibuddy in May 2016, leading it to significant growth by implementing an innovative OKR system and overseeing technical due diligence during fundraising efforts. Naidoo's tenure as CTO resulted in the platform scaling to over 3 million users across 650 universities. Other notable roles include Trustee of Ashinaga UK, CTO at BX, where Naidoo drove substantial revenue growth, and previous engineering positions at SLB and the United Nations, where Naidoo demonstrated leadership and advocacy. Naidoo holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from UCL and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
