Chief Program Officer at Families in Transition

Meghan Shea has extensive work experience in the field of social services and therapy. Meghan began their career at Families in Transition in 2006, where they held various positions including Vice President of Clinical & Supportive Services. In September 2020, they were promoted to the role of Chief Program Officer at the same company. In 2014, Meghan joined Bedford Family Therapy, LLC as a Therapist and worked there until November 2019.

Meghan Shea holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of New Hampshire, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Work at the same university, from 2002 to 2006. Meghan has also obtained additional certifications, including being a Licensed Independent Social Worker - CP & AP from the NH Board of Mental Health since September 2012, and a Masters Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor from the NH Board of Alcohol and Other Drugs since October 2010.
