Charity Support Worker at Family Action

Kin Yip has a diverse work experience in various roles related to graphic design. In 2003, they started their own design consultancy called K.Y.U.K. Design Consultancy, where they worked as the proprietor and designer, providing freelance graphic and packaging design services for clients such as Issey Miyake and Rayware Group. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Graphic and POS/POP Designer at Walkers MCR Ltd, specializing in designing and constructing POS and POP units for major clients. They then moved on to USI Group Ltd in 2008, where they worked as a Graphic and Packaging Designer, sourcing and distributing products to retail groups. In the same year, they also freelanced at K.Y.U.K. Design, working on various design projects for clients such as Feeney Publications and Trendtidy Ltd. They continued their freelance work at Shoot the Moon Design Consultants Ltd from 2011 to 2015, working as a Graphic Designer and Creative Art Worker. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Graphic Designer/POS Designer at iPOS. In 2016, they set up their own picture framing studio called Kinlee Artisan Framers, specializing in bespoke frames for artists, designers, and small galleries. Most recently, they have been working as a Charity Support Worker at Family Action starting in 2020 and currently as a Project Worker at Wood Street Mission since 2022.

Kin Yip completed a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design at City of Liverpool Community College from 1993 to 1995. Following that, from 1995 to 1996, they pursued a Degree Foundation Course in Art & Design specializing in Graphic Design at the same college. Finally, from 1996 to 1999, Kin Yip obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design specializing in Packaging from Liverpool John Moores University.
