Michelle Kanarek

Michelle Kanarek is an experienced professional in event management, currently serving as the Engagement and Events Manager at Family Centers since April 2024. Prior to this, Michelle held various managerial roles at The New York Public Library from October 2013 to April 2024, including Manager of Development Events and Special Events. Earlier experience includes positions as Event Coordinator and Event Assistant at Bowen & Company, along with data processing tasks at HiTouch Business Services. Internships at Bowen and Company, The Saxton Group Ltd, and OTR Global provided foundational skills in event planning, public relations, and marketing. Michelle earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Psychology from the University of Connecticut from 2006 to 2010.
