Justin Ballenger

Justin Ballenger is an experienced culinary professional with a diverse background in various cooking roles. Currently serving as a Cook at Ruth's Chris Steak House since January 2018 and a Line Cook at The Black Oak since March 2017, Justin also holds positions as a Chef for Justin's Catering and a culinary employee at Howells and Hood. Previous experience includes participation as a contestant on Food Network's Chopped Teen and selling mini cheesecakes for additional income. Justin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Management from Gary Comer College Preparatory and two Associate's degrees in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Johnson & Wales University. Additionally, Justin engages in community service as a Christian volunteer at the Family Christian Center, contributing to the media team and youth departments.
