Katherine Turner

Katherine Turner is an experienced professional in social work and community support, currently serving as a Parent Coach Case Coordinator and Newcomer Case Coordinator at Family Dynamics since May 2021. In this role, Katherine manages cases for newcomer and refugee families, offering service delivery, referrals, advocacy, and emotional support. Previously, Katherine worked at the West Central Women's Resource Centre from July 2017 to May 2024, providing support to participants and conducting outreach for unhoused individuals. Other experience includes serving as a Student Family Therapist at New Directions for Children, Youth, Adults and Families Inc. and as a Community Connector for newcomers at Newcomer Education and Employment Development Services. Katherine holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor's degree in Human Rights and Conflict Resolution from The University of Winnipeg.
