Lgbtq+ Victim Advocate at Family Guidance Centers

Kim Dunlap MS, LRT/CTRS, possesses a strong background in therapeutic recreation, currently serving as an LGBTQ+ Victim Advocate at Family Guidance Centers, Inc. since May 2021, while also working as a Recreational Therapist at Jonas Hill Hospital & Clinic since June 2020. Previous experience includes a role as a Recreation Therapist at Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services, focusing on adolescent units, and an internship at UNC Health in recreational therapy. Additionally, Kim contributed to the field as an Arts Counselor at UMAR Services, Inc. Kim holds a Master of Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, earned in 2020, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution, completed in 2019. Kim also has foundational education from Rockingham Community College.
