Bill Cummins received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Redlands in 1988. Bill then continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders, which they completed in 1990. In August 1991, they obtained the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
