Amanda Brush, PhD, currently serves as the Senior Survey Research Manager at UpTogether, focusing on survey research related to the effects of guaranteed income interventions. With previous experience as a Research Consultant and ACLS/Mellon Leading Edge Postdoctoral Research Fellow at SAGE, Amanda managed research teams and conducted significant studies on LGBTQ+ inclusivity in Medicare/Medicaid PACE. As a Research Associate at The Fund for Santa Barbara, Amanda led participatory research on regional equity and collaborated with stakeholders. Amanda's academic tenure at UC Santa Barbara included roles as a Graduate Research Associate and Teaching Associate, contributing to numerous publications and managing large student cohorts. Amanda earned a PhD and MA in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara, a BA in Sociology from Mills College, and attended the Syracuse University Maxwell School.
