Elliot Ling

COO at UpTogether

Elliot Ling is passionate about social justice, racial equity, and working for the good of underserved communities. Prior to joining UpTogether as Chief Operating Officer, Elliot led business operations at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools, a network of high-performing public charter schools serving 13,000 scholars in low-income communities throughout Los Angeles. He spearheaded the network’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic developing and implementing systems and protocols to ensure healthy and safe operations at 28 school sites. Under his leadership 3 million meals were distributed to community members during the pandemic and Alliance successfully welcomed students back to campus to support student learning and well-being.

Elliot is also the proud father of two energetic elementary school-aged girls, Josie and Allie, and has the privilege of raising them alongside his wife in the South Los Angeles community where they have lived for nearly two decades. Elliot holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management where he was awarded the John Wooden Global Leadership Fellowship.
