Karl Weintz is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in corporate development and strategy across various technology sectors. As Principal at Family Office since June 2018, Weintz previously served as CEO of Sonavation Inc., leading the company in ultrasound biometric fingerprint sensor technology. Weintz has also held executive roles at HID Global and ActivIdentity, where significant contributions included developing licensing strategies and driving M&A initiatives. Earlier career experiences include COO at CoreStreet, and VP positions at Genuity and BBN Technologies, along with engineering work at NASA. Weintz holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Anthropology from Stanford University.
