Amber Young has a diverse work experience in nonprofit organizations and volunteer engagement. Amber currently holds the role of Director of Foundation & Corporate Relations at Family Promise, Inc. Amber previously worked at the National MS Society, where they held several roles including Director, Volunteer Engagement and Senior Manager, Volunteer Engagement. Amber also worked at The Franklin Institute as a Volunteer Program Coordinator and at the American Cancer Society as an Events Coordinator and Recruitment Specialist. Additionally, they gained experience at Girl Scouts of Nassau County and Hofstra University in intern and leadership roles. In 2008, they volunteered for Obama for America.

S. and abroad. Our programs involve 180,000 volunteers nationwide who provide assistance to more than 50,000 family members annually. Family Promise was chosen to receive one of 21 Points of Light awards out of a field of more than 4,500 nominees.
