Idania Lemus

Idania Lemus is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community relations and human resources. Since June 2016, Idania has served as the Director of Community Relations at the Family Resource Center of South Florida, where responsibilities include overseeing agency contracts, managing grant proposals exceeding $750,000, and coordinating large-scale fundraising events. Prior to this role, Idania was a Human Resources Coordinator for the Town of Davie, managing recruitment and compliance for over 200 employees. Idania's career at the Family Resource Center also included roles ranging from Human Resources Director to Development Manager, during which strategies were developed for employee retention, fundraising, and organizational efficiency. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, complemented by an Associate of Science in Child Development.
