Joyce Koerner

Joyce Koerner, MPS, LPCC, LADC, is a seasoned therapist currently providing individual, couples, and family therapy at Family Service Rochester since July 2024. Previously, Joyce held the role of Program Manager and Counselor at NUWAY from April 2020 to June 2024, where responsibilities included planning and delivering chemical and mental health services. As a Mental Health Provider at Avalon Counseling Services from January 2018 to March 2023, Joyce completed diagnostic assessments and developed individualized treatment plans. Earlier experience includes positions as Primary Counselor at Common Ground Recovery Services and Counselor at Gables. Educational credentials include a Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lawrence University.
