Sonia Price

Sonia Price is an experienced professional in mental health and athletic management. Currently serving as an Intellectual Disability Case Manager and Support Coordinator at Central Alabama Wellness since October 2020, Sonia previously held the position of House Manager at Family Sunshine Center since March 2016. From January 2017 to November 2020, Sonia worked as a Job Coach for Easter Seals and served as Program Manager and Resident Advisor at Mary Ellen's Hearth at Nellie Burge Community Center from January 2012 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, Sonia excelled as the Head Volleyball Coach at Alabama State University from August 1992 to May 2011, and Sonia made history as the first female athletic director, overseeing the entire athletic department. Sonia holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation/Recreational Therapy from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Faulkner University.
