Dan Harmer

Dan Harmer is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Web and Mobile Development at FamilySearch, a position held since April 2014. Prior to this role, Dan spent nearly a decade at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where various positions included Software Engineering Manager and Development Manager, focusing on solution architecture and engineering best practices. Dan's extensive expertise spans multiple technologies and leadership roles across various companies, including positions as a Senior Software Engineer at TopVue, Inc. and Senior Software Architect at Engenuity Technologies. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Technology from Weber State University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
