Andreas Iatropoulos

Andreas Iatropoulos has a diverse background in software engineering and management. Andreas is currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at FanDuel, where they are leading the engineering strategy to standardize APIOps and API Gateway technologies. In this role, Andreas is also championing the integration of machine learning models to improve fraud prevention processes and enhance the experience for millions of active customers. Andreas previously held the position of Lead Software Engineer at FanDuel, where they focused on scaling software architecture and processes to accommodate rapid business growth.

Prior to their time at FanDuel, Andreas worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, managing teams and influencing the roadmap for a company-wide program. Andreas also served as a Technical Team Lead, responsible for maintaining and improving user authentication and customer journey functionality during FanDuel's transition to a multi-product platform. Earlier in their career, Andreas gained experience as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer at FanDuel.

Before joining FanDuel, Andreas worked as a Software Engineer at Foodtec Solutions Inc and as a Software Developer at Focus Greece Ltd.

Throughout their career, Andreas has made significant contributions to their organizations, including a pending patent with the US Patent Office for customer data migration and account merging architecture and algorithms.

Andreas Iatropoulos obtained a BSc Hons degree in Computer Science from the Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. Andreas attended this institution from 2004 to 2015.
