Denis Mayer

Denis Mayer serves as the Senior Director of Data Engineering at FanDuel since March 2025, overseeing the organization’s data platform. Prior to this, Denis held multiple leadership roles at Capital One, including Senior Director responsible for transforming engineering teams and optimizing machine learning solutions, which involved managing 80 engineers and generating significant revenue improvements. Denis also led the development of a data platform that harnessed machine learning, generating an additional $60 million in revenue. Earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Engineering at Synchronoss Technologies, where Denis launched five mobile applications, and as Vice President of Technology at RelPro, contributing to the development of a high-performing SaaS application. Denis's extensive background includes roles at Knowledgent, EMC, Quantif, BearingPoint, Major League Baseball, and Arthur Andersen, showcasing a strong foundation in software development, machine learning, cloud computing, and data-driven solutions. Denis earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Hofstra University.
