John currently holds the position of Vice President of Trading Product and General Manager of FanDuel Australia at FanDuel. In this role, they lead a team that delivers market-leading betting products and manages a large team of over 100 people. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Risk and Trading Product and Technology at FanDuel.

Before joining FanDuel, Maguire worked at Sportsbet, where they held various roles. John served as a Commercial Lead, leading a transformative program of work for the global Flutter business. John also held the position of Head of Sports, responsible for leading a trading team and managing all domestic and international sports trading. Additionally, they were the Head of Trading Solutions and Analytics, where they led the development of analytics, software development, and modeling capabilities to deliver innovative solutions and market-leading products. Earlier in their career at Sportsbet, they served as a Senior Risk and Trading Analyst, creating actionable insights and automating reporting within the Risk and Trading department.

Maguire's work experience also includes positions at Boylesports, where they served as a Senior Risk and Trading Analyst, creating actionable insights and directing a team of risk profilers. John also worked as a Management Accountant, responsible for revenue accounting and financial reporting, and as an IT Support Specialist, providing software and hardware support. Additionally, they gained experience as a Shop Deputy Manager.
