Dylan Hensel

Dylan Hensel has worked in a variety of roles since 2015. Dylan began as a Social Media Manager for Freelance in 2015, then moved on to become a Directors Assistant at Pulse Films in 2016. In 2019, they began working as a Technical Lead at Direct Message Network, where they leveraged SEO best practices and Google Analytics to direct traffic to the company's social media pages. In 2020, Dylan worked as a Software Engineer at GatsbyHub, where they built a Visual Studio Code extension on a Node.js runtime environment, employed TypeScript and Travis CI, and implemented object-oriented programming. Dylan also worked as a Software Engineer at Open Source, where they utilized Socket.io and React Router, and implemented PostgreSQL and Redux. In 2021, Dylan became a Validation Configuration Engineer at Vineti, and in 2022, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Fanfix, where they maintain multiple codebases, builds out new features, and makes architecture decisions.

Dylan Hensel attended Pace University from 2008 to 2010 and then the University of Southern California from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
