Dick van der Heiden

Dick van der Heiden has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Dick currently owns the company Goedemiddag! and is also the Team Lead of Team Fangage. Dick previously worked as a Lead Developer at Fangage. Before that, they worked as a Laravel Developer at Vdhicts, where they developed websites and web applications using the Laravel framework. Dick was also involved in promoting the use of Laravel in the Netherlands as a Founding Partner of the Dutch Laravel Foundation.

Additionally, Dick worked as a Development Manager & Lead Portal Developer at Mproof Game Based Learning, where they managed development projects. Dick worked as a Programmer at PDC Informatie Architectuur, specializing in data gathering and improvement for information systems. Dick also developed tools for managing projects and generating scripts. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer at InThere, focusing on innovative training concepts, and as a Software Developer at Troublefree B.V., where they developed and improved the PHP backend of Troublefree Retail.

Dick van der Heiden began their education in 1997 at Segbroek College, where they pursued a HAVO degree with a focus on Natuur & Gezondheid. Dick completed this program in 2003. Following this, they enrolled at Haagse Hogeschool Den Haag, where they studied ICT and obtained a B ICT degree from 2003 to 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they acquired the Laravel Certified Developer certification from Laravel in October 2022.
