Scott Burton has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Scott is currently a Board Member at Altrincham Football Club since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of FansUnite Entertainment Inc. starting in August 2020. Scott also held the position of CEO at Askott Entertainment, which was later acquired by FansUnite Entertainment, from August 2014 until August 2020. Scott has also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Charlford House Society for Women from June 2011 to June 2016. Scott's entrepreneurial background includes co-founding Tedbets, a social P2P sports wagering platform, where they held the role of Co-founder from May 2012 to July 2014. Scott was a Partner at Nicholas James Corp from March 2010 to December 2011. Additionally, they have experience as a Controller at Horizon Landscape Contractors from January 2009 to February 2010, and as a Branch Manager at Moulding and Millwork from 2006 to 2009. Scott started their career as a Territory Manager at Okanagan from March 2002 to June 2003. In the early stages of their career, they held multiple roles at Sauder Moulding & Millwork, including Production Manager, Sales Manager, and Inside Sales Manager.
Scott Burton completed their education in the field of management accounting, entrepreneurial management, and marketing. In 1994, they obtained a Marketing Management Diploma from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Scott then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Entrepreneurial Management from Royal Roads University, which they completed in 1999. In 2009, they further enhanced their skills by obtaining a certification in Management Accounting from the Certified Management Accountants Society of BC. Additionally, Scott has an additional certification as a CPA/CMA from the Certified Management Accountants Society of BC.
