Sumit Kumar Jha

Sumit Kumar Jha has had a long and varied career. In 2009, they were a Summer Intern at Ruhr-Universität Bochum. In 2010, they were a Graduate Engineer Trainee at Tata Motors Jamshedpur, where they were among the top 10 GETs off the 2010 batch. In 2013, they were a Summer Intern at Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programs, where they set up test methodologies to test anti-vibration properties of rubber compounds and received a Pre-Placement offer for the Leadership Program. Sumit Kumar was also Secretary, Placement Committee at XLRI in 2013. In 2014, they were a Leadership Associate at Aditya Birla Group Leadership Programs, where they implemented new customer relationship management back end infrastructure and designed an end to end new store promotion strategy for Pantaloons. In 2015, they were Assistant General Manager-Marketing at Idea Cellular Ltd, where they had end-to-end life cycle management for 70 Mn Subscribers. In 2019, they were General Manager - Customer Value Management at Vodafone Idea Limited. In 2020, they were Founder at Fantasy Akhada, one of India's fastest growing Fantasy Sports Platform. In 2022, they became Founder at VUSport, building a world class brand with the vision of changing the way Indian Fans consume Sports.

Sumit Kumar Jha completed a PGDBM in Finance and Marketing from XLRI Jamshedpur in 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Production Engineering and Management from National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur in 2010.
