Clare McGuinness

Clare McGuinness is an experienced camp counselor currently serving as the Lead Camp Counselor at Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA since June 2024, where responsibilities include planning lessons and activities for young children and managing communication with parents about their children's experiences. Previously, Clare held the position of Camp Counselor and Substitute Aide at the same organization from June 2019 to August 2023, focusing on similar age groups and parental engagement. Additionally, Clare worked as a New Student Leader at Fairfield University, facilitating seminars for first-year students and mentoring them through transitional challenges. Prior experience includes a role at Rocko's Cafe as a cashier/server, showcasing strong interpersonal skills. Clare is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Fairfield University and has recently attended the University of Galway for further education in Neuroscience.
