Far Brook School
Matthew McGowan is an experienced educational technology specialist currently teaching and designing curricula for 2nd through 8th grade STEAM and Technology classes at Far Brook School since July 2021. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a technology integrator at The Town School, developing pre-K through 4th-grade curricula that included design thinking and digital citizenship. Matthew’s background also includes a digital learning internship at the American Museum of Natural History, various grant writing and communications roles at organizations such as The Child Mind Institute and Children's Health Fund, and experience teaching undergraduate courses at Rutgers University. Matthew holds a Master of Arts in Digital Media Design for Learning from New York University and additional degrees from Rutgers University in English literature and anthropology.
