Sophie Jones

Sophie Jones is an experienced professional in asset management with a focus on water and drainage systems. Currently serving as the Asset Management Team Leader at Far North District Council since July 2018, Sophie has led initiatives to improve asset management practices across stormwater, wastewater, and water supply activities, notably authoring significant asset management plans and developing a 10-year capital works plan. Prior to this role, Sophie held positions at Christchurch City Council, Kirk Roberts Consulting Engineers Ltd, E2 Environmental Ltd, and other organizations, contributing to stormwater asset management, infrastructure engineering, and project coordination. Sophie holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil & Coastal Engineering from the University of Plymouth.
