Shadi Idelbi

Shadi Idelbi is the current Director of IT at Far Out Solutions. Prior to this, Shadi worked as the Support and Maintenance Manager at Smart Vision from November 2007 to September 2015. In this role, Shadi was responsible for managing and leading a team of 15+ support engineers and support department staff. Additionally, Shadi coordinated and organized projects between various branches all around the emirates, provided professional technical support and advice in a timely manner, and handled the coordination between the software team and the project engineers.

In addition to these responsibilities, Shadi also communicated and resolved problems with manufacturing divisions and developers, understood customers’ requirements/complaints, and carefully planned, developed, and delivered optimal and efficient solutions. Furthermore, Shadi developed new profitable project contracts with both existing and new clients, developed reports for upper management and clients discussing progress, solutions, and suggestions, and made critical decisions under challenging environments in order to simultaneously ensure continuation of business growth and customer satisfaction.

In order to successfully achieve all of these goals, Shadi set clear, realistic and quantifiable goals and objectives for the department, established and implemented secure, practical and cost effective policies, logged and documented product enhancement requests, provided extensive training to staff in order to provide quality support to all clients, managed and monitored service level performance through service level agreements, ensured effective problem management and escalation in a time efficient manner, and held regular service review meetings including individual engineer evaluations.

Shadi Idelbi has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information System from the Applied Science University. They are currently certified in PMP project management professional and are in progress in Latch5000 engravers (Germany–Munich 10/2006) and Edirham Vending machines (England-Wales 10/2006).

Shadi Idelbi reports to Zaid AlChalabi, COO. They are on a team with Omar Hachum - CISO, Ihsan Idelbi - Director of Sales, and Mary Parez - Director of Imaging & Printing.
