Sulman Ihsan

Sulman Ihsan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of financial reporting, compliance, and planning. Sulman started their career at Al-Janat Paper Mill as an Assistant Finance and Administration, then moved on to NPS Academy where they worked as a Lectureship and Accounts Executive. Sulman later became the Finance Manager and Managing Partner at Z.S Enterprises and Automotive Parts. Sulman then joined EY (Ernst & Young) as a Supervising Senior, where they gained experience in financial statement audits, forensic audits, and systems audits. Sulman also worked as an Engagement Auditor during their time at EY. After EY, Sulman joined BDO Saudi Arabia, Dr. Mohamed Al-Amri & Co. as an Assistant Manager in Assurance and Advisory, where they conducted audits and prepared financial statements in accordance with international standards. Sulman then worked at The Institute of Financial Accountants as a Regional Director. Most recently, Sulman has been working at Farabi Petrochemicals as the Group's Section Head for Financial Reporting, Compliance & SAP ERP, overseeing projects, implementing IFRS standards, and handling SAP at an enterprise level.

Sulman Ihsan's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Business commerce and accounting from the University of the Punjab, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Sulman then pursued professional certifications and affiliations in the field of accounting and finance. Sulman became a CA Intermediate/Certified in Accounting and Finance (CAF) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. Sulman also became a Professional Accounting Affiliate (PAA) from the same institute. Sulman Ihsan further enhanced their knowledge and skills by becoming a Fellow Member of the Institute of Financial Accountants in the United Kingdom and the Institute of Public Accountants of Australia.

In addition to their formal education, Sulman Ihsan has obtained various certifications and completed training programs to expand their expertise. Sulman has earned a Certified Financial Modeler certificate from The Institute of Financial Accountants. Sulman has also completed training in IFRSs, IASs, and ISAs through Ernst & Young in-house trainings and EY Learning and Development Programme (EY LEAD). Sulman Ihsan has also received training in Presentation Skills from the Professional Academy of Commerce. Additionally, they have certifications in Computer Hardware from Aptech Pakistan and in Microsoft Offices from an independent tutor.
