Rajeswaran Radhakrishnan

Principal Project Scientist at Faraday Technology Inc

Rajeswaran Radhakrishnan has extensive work experience in various scientific and engineering roles. Rajeswaran started their career as an Engineer-R&D and Quality Assurance at TATA Autocomp GY Batteries Pvt Ltd. from May 2009 to July 2010, where they evaluated the concept of a Hybrid VRLA battery and underwent training in Lean Six Sigma projects.

From June 2013 to May 2014, they worked as a Researcher I at Southern Illinois University, where they developed a method to regenerate antibodies on degenerate electrodes for impedance biosensors and successfully evaluated sensor performance.

From August 2011 to January 2015, Rajeswaran served as a Research Assistant at Clarkson University. In this role, they developed methods for electrodepositing thin films, designed an experimental setup for plating molybdenum onto aluminum alloy, and developed an electrochemical biosensor for detecting endocrine disrupting chemicals and food pathogens.

Rajeswaran then joined Meridian Bioscience Inc. in February 2015 as a Research Engineer, where they worked on the development of a prototype electrochemical biosensor for Avian Flu virus detection, evaluated next-generation technology for point-of-care diagnostics devices, and characterized biomaterials using ELISA and optical microscopy techniques.

Since August 2016, Rajeswaran has been working at Faraday Technology Inc. In their roles as Principal Scientist and Principal Project Scientist, they have been involved in the development of electrochemical processing techniques for coating and surface finishing, the development of Trivalent Chromium plating processes, and the electrochemical manufacturing of coated silicon X-ray mirror optics.

Overall, Rajeswaran Radhakrishnan has consistently demonstrated their expertise in electrochemistry, materials science, and research and development, with a focus on various applications including batteries, biosensors, and surface finishing.

Rajeswaran Radhakrishnan completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from the Central ElectroChemical Research Institute from 2005 to 2009. Rajeswaran then pursued further education and obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Materials Science and Engineering from Clarkson University between 2011 and 2015. In between, from 2010 to 2011, Rajeswaran Radhakrishnan attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this period.
