Santosh Vijapur, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Santosh started their career as a Trainee at BASF, where they were involved in R&D activities and successfully solved issues related to thixotropic pigment pastes used in automotive coatings. Santosh then worked as a Process Engineer at Oval Polycoats Pvt. Ltd., where they managed resources and improved production efficiency through process optimization.

Moving to the Ohio Coal Research Center, Santosh worked as a Research Assistant and made significant contributions to the optimization of the Wet Laminar Electrostatic Precipitator. Santosh implemented design modifications, conducted simulations, and improved the collection efficiency of the precipitator.

Santosh then joined TE Connectivity as an Intern and was tasked with understanding corrosion problems and evaluating corrosion inhibitors. Santosh identified flaws in the existing technique and independently implemented an efficient electrochemical technique for corrosion analysis.

At Ohio University, Santosh worked as a Research Assistant and later as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Santosh's educational journey began at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, where they earned their B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering in 2002.
