Emanuel Bergagna has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and cybersecurity. Emanuel started their career in 2012 as a Unix/Network Administrator and IT support specialist at Cordoba TSI Servicios Informaticos, where they monitored computer systems and networks, installed and configured hardware and software, and maintained the network infrastructure. In 2017, they worked as a Software Engineer and Computer Vision Researcher at Deep Vision, where they researched and developed solutions for computer vision problems, particularly in image classification, detection, segmentation, and object tracking.
In the same year, Emanuel joined Core Security as a Reverse Engineer, Malware Analyst, and Developer. In this role, they focused on developing antivirus bypassing techniques for the Core Impact Framework. Emanuel also conducted malware analysis and implemented research techniques that are still utilized by the company.
Emanuel's passion for cybersecurity led him to become an Independent Web Security Analyst in 2020. Through bounty platforms, they reported over 30 web vulnerabilities to various companies, including Alibaba, Magisto, Verizon Media, IBM, Ford, DoD, AT&T, PayPal, Adobe, Logitech, Teamleader, and Randstad.
In 2021, Emanuel worked as a Security Researcher and Developer at Fundación Sadosky, where they conducted security research and contributed to development projects. Currently, they are working as a Security Consultant at Faraday, starting in December 2021.
