Jimmy Yao

Jimmy Yao is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Management Company Controller at Farallon Capital Management since April 2025. Prior to this role, Jimmy held the position of Global Head of FP&A at Cerberus Capital Management, where responsibilities included building the FP&A function from its inception in partnership with the CFO. From December 2012 to March 2024, Jimmy was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, overseeing the Asset Management division's FP&A and excelling in controller functions within Investment Management. Earlier in the career, Jimmy worked as a Senior Associate at Ernst & Young LLP, managing audits for high-profile clients, and gained initial experience as an intern at both China Minmetals Corporation and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
