Leah Huang

Manager, Product Digitalization Management at Farasis Energy, Inc.

Leah Huang has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2009, they started as a Lead Discipline Engineer at Shanghai Urban Construction Design and Research Institute, where they focused on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Leah then moved on to Zhuhai Institute of Urban Planning and Design, where they worked as a Senior Engineer specializing in municipal pipelines, plumbing, and fire protection. In 2016, Leah became a Project Manager at Atelier Mearc, overseeing various projects. Leah continued their project management career at Northwestern University as a Research Assistant, assisting with historical research, preservation, and architectural planning. Leah also volunteered at Northwestern University's SERVE901 program, gaining knowledge about social issues. Leah joined National Retrofitting Group, LLC in 2018, working in project management, before transitioning to Molex as a Pre-sales Engineer and Project Manager. At Molex, they also held the role of Project Manager, overseeing new product introduction. Leah then worked at Geek+ as a Project Manager before joining Rivian in 2021 as a Senior Technical Program Manager. Currently, Leah is a Senior Technical Program Manager at Farasis Energy, starting in 2022.

Leah Huang has a Master's degree in Project Management with a focus on AEC Business Management and Sustainability from Northwestern University. Leah also took a course on Impact Investment and Sustainable Finance at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. In addition, Leah completed a course on Executive Management for Design and Construction at Northwestern University. Leah'sundergraduate education was at Shanghai University of Engineering Science, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Leah has several additional certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in June 2021. Leah also holds certifications in Multinational Communication in the Workplace, Own Your Voice: Improve Presentations and Executive Presence, Lean Six Sigma Foundations, SAP ERP Essential Training, Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP), Microsoft Project 2016 Essential Training, and Microsoft Forms First Look, all obtained between 2019 and 2020. Furthermore, Leah is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in China, which they obtained in November 2013 through Shanghai Civil Engineering Group.
