Murat Yilmaz

Murat Yilmaz has a diverse range of work experience in the field of web development and design. Murat started their career as a Freelance Web Developer and Designer in 1999, providing services such as graphic and web design, technical support, and software training to clients. During this time, they also developed various websites and provided hosting services.

In 2008, Murat joined Fareportal, a $4 billion travel company, where they held multiple roles over the years. Murat started as a UI/UX Designer/Developer, then moved on to become a Web UI/UX Design Manager. Later, they became the Creative Director, overseeing all e-commerce products and brands within Fareportal. From 2015 to 2018, Murat served as the Associate Vice President for Design, UX, CRO, and Front End Development. Finally, in September 2018, they assumed the role of Global VP of Products, leading a global team responsible for various aspects of the company's digital channels and online sales.

Throughout their career, Murat has demonstrated expertise in product development, design, customer experience, strategy, and team leadership. Murat has worked with well-known brands such as CheapOair and OneTravel, and has consistently contributed to the growth and success of the organizations they have been a part of.

Murat Yilmaz earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Yildiz Technical University, which they attended from 2002 to 2007. Murat later pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Information Systems, General at Brooklyn College from 2009 to 2011. Furthermore, they obtained additional certifications including the "MBA Essentials 2021" from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), and the "Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)" from Scrum Alliance in 2019.
