Surojit Bagchi

Surojit Bagchi has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Surojit began their career as a UNIX System Administrator at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business in 1993. Surojit then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Sprint's Broadband Network Management division from 1995 to 1997. Following this, they served as a Senior Project Engineer at ADC Telecommunications' Broadband Access and Transport Group from 1997 to 2000. In 2001, Bagchi briefly worked as a Product Manager at Cisco Systems before joining Sabre Airline Solutions - Pricing & Yield Management as a Senior Consultant from 2001 to 2004. From 2005 to 2007, they held roles as an Onsite Program Manager and Practice Manager - Airlines at Wipro Technologies. Bagchi also worked as an Independent Consultant at SITA - Internet and Integration Solutions in 2007. In 2008, they became the Chief Technology Officer at IRISS, where they played a pivotal role in developing India's first distribution platform for Low-Cost Airlines (LCC) and integrating it with Galileo and Amadeus GDSs. Bagchi then held various positions at IBS Software Services, including Head of Solutioning, Pre-sales, and Consulting from 2013 to 2017, and Director - Consulting and Domain Services from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they are the Senior Director - Product at Fareportal, where they are responsible for product management and leading API integrations and roadmap for content products.

Surojit Bagchi obtained an MBA in Information Systems Management from Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business in 1993-1994. Prior to that, they pursued graduate studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of South Carolina from 1991-1993. Surojit holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical from Sardar Patel University, completed from 1987-1991. Surojit Bagchi also attended Air Force Bal Bharati School from 1975-1985. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Revenue Analytics: Price Optimization from Emeritus (year unspecified), Machine Learning from Coursera in 2020, Lean Leadership Skills, Lean Culture & Lean Management from Udemy in 2020, and is a Certified Scrum Product Owner obtained from Scrum Alliance in November 2019.
