Melissa Trahan

Melissa Trahan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Melissa currently holds the position of VP People at Farewill, a company focused on changing the way the world deals with death. Prior to this, they worked as a Leadership Coach at MMT Coaching Ltd in 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Director of People at Thread, an organization dedicated to helping people dress well and feel amazing. Before that, they held the role of Head of Talent & People at Thread from 2014 to 2019. Melissa worked as the Head of Talent at Passion Capital, an early-stage VC firm, from 2013 to 2014, where they provided Talent and People support to portfolio companies. Melissa also worked as a Lead Recruiter at Massive Health in 2012, before the company was acquired by Jawbone. Prior to that, they served as a Technical Sourcer at Facebook from 2008 to 2012, contributing to the mission of making the world more open and connected. Melissa Trahan attended Harvard University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Later, in 2020 to 2021, they pursued a Certificate in Coaching from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, Melissa is a member of the Association for Coaching (AC) without any specified month or year of obtaining the membership.
